The ‘Poltergeist’ house is becoming an Airbnb that will replicate the horror movie set

Sleep here at your own risk.

The infamous house from the 1982 horror classic “Poltergeist” is being turned into an Airbnb, available for rent by fans obsessed with the supernatural.

The house, built in 1979, is located in Simi Valley, California.

It sold Friday for $1.28 million, the Zillow listing confirms.

The new investor, who is from Los Gatos, California, reportedly wants to turn the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home into an Airbnb that will replicate the iconic movie set.

But Halloween fans shouldn’t get too excited about the rental news.

According to TMZ, the home won’t be ready on Airbnb before the spooky holiday on October 31 because the owner is “going to make it perfect and not rush things.”

There’s always next year, at least.

The “Poltergeist” house, located at 4267 Roxbury Street, went on the market in August for the first time in 45 years.

It features a light-filled living room with massive windows, a formal dining room and a kitchen with modernized appliances.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, including a master suite with vaulted ceilings, a bathroom and a walk-in closet.

The backyard, which covers 16,000 square feet, features a large in-ground pool and a Jacuzzi.

“Yes, this is the house where most of the first movie in the series was filmed; but ‘This house is clean’. Seriously, it is!” the Zillow listing was playfully flagged before the sale.

The house is also described as “ideal for cooling off on hot California days or hosting epic pool parties. Plus, it’s a lot safer than building a portal to another dimension!”

Additionally, the listing noted that there is room to add a pool house or an ADU for additional income.

4267 Roxbury Street was used as the main filming location for the beloved horror film directed by Tobe Hooper and written by Steven Spielberg.

“Poltergeist” follows the Freeling family as they encounter terrifying paranormal activity in their suburban home and centers around youngest child Carol Anne, who is kidnapped by malevolent spirits through a portal in her closet.
